A protégé of John Mathieson BSC, award winning Director of Photography Alain Philippe Cross has had a strong passion for art and photography since his early childhood. With over 12 years of experience as a cinematographer, Alain enjoys working collaboratively across a wide range of formats, including narrative storytelling, (long and short form), fashion and beauty, commercials and documentaries. Recently Alain has been doing some 2nd Unit work alongside his mentor John Mathieson for Iain Softley’s new film, The Sheperd.
