A protégé of John Mathieson BSC, award-winning Director of Photography Alain Philippe Cross has had a strong passion for art and photography since childhood.

With over 12 years of experience as a cinematographer, Alain works collaboratively across a wide range of formats, including narrative storytelling, fashion and beauty, commercials, and documentaries.

Recently, Alain has been working on second unit photography alongside his mentor John Mathieson on The Shepherd, directed by Iain Softley.
