MAJA SMIEJKOWSKA

Maja Smiejkowska is a freelance photographer working across commercial and editorial projects. She has covered major global events including the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the coronation of King Charles III, the Cannes Film Festival, and international sporting events including the 2024 Summer Paralympics and The Open Championship.

Her work spans high-profile news, corporate, and editorial assignments for British Academy of Film and Television Arts and designers including Vivienne Westwood, Victoria Beckham, Holzweiler, 16Arlington, and Molly Goddard. A former board member of the British Press Photographers Association, Maja is also an active advocate for the photography community.

Her work has been recognised by the Event Photography Awards and the UK Picture Editors Guild Awards. Outside of photography, she enjoys travelling, surfing, and roller skating.
